for some reason, i cannot view subtitles in media player classic. watching dvds or anything wont let me have that option. windows media player has no problem displaying subtitle.

here is a screenshot from the matrix. as you can see, the program knows there are subs available, but it refuses to show anything.

my media player classic used to work fine until i reinstalled it and then the subtitles are gone.

thanks for the VLC player. its displaying subtitles perfectly fine! :)

im checking the doom9 out now. if i cant fix media player classic, i guess VLC will be the main player from now on.

installing VSFILTER.DLL is easy.

1) download it from SourceForge.
2) unzip it anywhere. eg: C:\DOWNLOADS.
3) START > RUN.
4) type: REGSVR32 C:\DOWNLOADS\VSFILTER.DLL.

you might need to reboot afterwards...

No problem mate! Just try the VSFilter if you want to see if the subtitles work again on MPC. :)
