Im trying to fix a PC for someone, and came across a weird problem. The buttons in media player appear to be displaying using the wingding font or something similarly unreadable. I searched and found a mention that large font being utilized might do it but on this PC it is set to small font. Anyone know if there is somewhere I can go to change what font it is using? The only other place I saw the unreadable font was after allowing a microsoft update, on the final window that said it was complete. I took a look at the appearance tab of the display properties, but none of those seemed to be the one that would fix it. I did uninstall and reinstall media player and the problem has persisted. Any ideas please let me know.
