Media Player and Yahoo Music

I can't seem to play any music in yahoo music or a number of other sites. I emailed yahoo about it and they recommend going back to WMP 10. Any thoughts about how to get it working with sites like JibJab and Yahoo Music or do I actually need to go back to WMP 10?
