Media player 9 ?

My windows media player 9 will no longer play mpgs what could of happened?

What type of mpeg files...mpeg1?

It plays it very poorly anyways. The speed was not acceptable for me. Use WinDVD or PowerDVD or something.

Will ffdshow help in a situation like this? Perhaps you need a third party mpeg decoder like others have mentioned.

Try windows media player 10. I like it a lot better than mp9. For some things I prefer media player classic over the rest.
