I'm using Media Player 6.4, I hate MP7...

But I'm having some problems. When I try to watch a video file (mpg mpe mpeg avi), while keeping other windows (about 15, like Photoshop 5.5, IE5.5, ACDSee3.1...) openned, simply I can't... The movie truncate, even in window mode (not full screen)...
I'm using an Athlon 750 with A7V, 128MB of RAM and a Creative Riva TNT AGP card, I think it's suficient to do tasks like that, but...

Thanks for your attention!

I think Photoshop is the problem. It will use lots of memory and resources.
I use UltraPlayer for playback movies. No problems with it even with photoshop (v.6) open. Using a P3 866 with 256Mb 133 MHz so my PC has more room.
But UltraPlayer uses (reed "neads") the Media Player codecs so maybe the problem will be the same. Anyway, you can try it. (www.ultraplayer.com)
