Media PC and S-Video out?

JDCentral

I'm building a Media PC and am wondering if S-Video output will catch everything (including bios messages, boot stuff before OS inits, etc), or will I have to search for a monitor?

That depends on whether the graphics card detects and enables the TV-out during VGA BIOS initialization. I know that ATI's do.
Also, unlike in the fully booted OS where you can select that, you need to make sure your card's default TV standard matches what your display unit expects - NTSC, PAL, SECAM, and all the variations of them. (Generally, if your stuff is from local shops, you'll be fine in that regard.)

Ok.. so an ATI card is out of the picture, for sure - I'm using linux, because I think it's more applicable in this situation ;-).

So, anybody know some nVidia cards that will do this?

EDIT: of the Ti4200-4600 Range?

(Yes... I'll google)
