Media Monkey - I thought this was all I needed for a disaster music library?

Can someone explain Media Monkey to me like I'm a 5 year old please? I am one of those guys who has a music library of about 8 years and never really tagged anything.....ever. Some are tagged. Many are not. For instance, I have like 30 "song # 11's" in my library, etc.

I thought Media Monkey was the answer to all my troubles with auto tagging and getting rid of duplicates. But it didn't tag half the files I have and I can't find out how to get rid of the duplicates I do have.

Is it any better than itunes for this purpose? Am I doing it wrong? :'( Or is there something else out there?

you have to right click an album of songs or a song and then you can auto tag from the web. But this sends you choices so you still have to manually pick the right album. I am sure there are other options but i have no qualms about doing it myself. Granted most of my stuff was correct. If I had to do a huge library you need something else. Media Monkey is still great for being a music player.

I got it for 2 purposes, 2 Tag stuff and get rid of duplicates. But it Tagged only like 30% of my collection and I can't figure out how to get rid of duplicates all in one shot. Can it not be done with the click of a button in the whole library? (I don't care how long it takes)
