I'm going to be building a PC for Media Center use. Just got the components in. It's going to be based on the Aopen XCube AV with a Northwood P4 2.8ghz.
I was browsing around a bit, and I noticed that XP Media Center Edition is going to be available in the whitebox OEM channels starting in August. My XCube comes with InterVideo's Media center software. I have some experience with XP MCE and its pretty nice, while I have never played around with any of the other Media Center apps.
Would you recommend I wait until I can buy MCE, or what other MCE alternative would you recommend. I already have the Intervideo Media Center on a disk... should I use that or something else.
