So we can get media center on our non media center laptops. I am pumped I want to put my TV on my laptop to take it with me. However it still does not do digital cable or satalite. I have satalite with TIVO. Now I just need an afordable way to get stuff from my TIVO to my laptop.
So, instead of Microsoft's media center my answer may be TivoToGo. I took this from gizmodo:
Now I just need that darn DirecTIVO to be upgraded to use TivoToGo... Argh!
If DirecTV doesn't upgrade my TIVO I will just get a USB 2.0 TV Wonder or if I can find it, just an encoder.
I feel like there is a new moment coming in tech, the true linking up of TV and Computer.
