Don't want to screw up a good thing. I'd like to install WinTV for a Hauppauge 2250 card in my machine. But I have the card with broadcast HD, a SiliconDust HomeRun and internet TV all integrated under Media Center.

I sent an inquiry to Hauppauge via their tech-support e-mail. Never got an answer. Anyone have any experience with this? If you were able to do it without causing yourself a problem, what sort of vid-card setup are you using?

why do you need wintv? Media Centre can address the ATSC tuner.

I have WinTV installed in my htpc, but I use it only for scheduling the recording for a weekly show on FM radio. I use WMC for everything else.

I have a 2250, also, but I have yet to find a way to get WMC to schedule FM radio recordings, although it will play live radio just fine. I found that with WinTV I could record FM radio shows, but it was like programming an old school vcr. You had to pick the channel to record, the day, a start time and the duration of the recording.

so if you already have wintv installed, what is the problem? Are you worried about WMC conflicting with wintv when the are run at the same time?

no podcast of the program you want to record?
