are you asking if it is possible to add extra drives and be able to use them in mce?

I'm pretty sure it is possible since mce is basically winxp with a media center focus. All you should need to do is pop in the extra drives, go into disk management, partition/format them, and start putting data on them.
 
yes, I know they will be fine in windows I'm just wondering if you will be able to record to both hdd's adn see them from the front end.

I'm not too sure if you will be able to record to two different places at the same time, that is unless you raid them, which really isn't two different places.

In short, I don't know.
