Slanderous Brexit article by the BBC? Coming right up!

Maybe their smear campaign against Lynton Crosby will enlighten you? Info drafted by the Labor Party for them before the found out they were duped.

I used more than the express and telegraph as examples. If you don't want to read it because you are biased how about... when the BBC portrayed Sunak as literal superman? Had a video and everything. Or Maybe Piers Morgan, far leftist, slams them for being further left than him?

Seriously, if the Guardian or the Mirror posts it, the BBC runs with it an hour later. They don't do that for Daily Mail or other right side EU news outlets. Whatever, believe what you want.

Again - the Guardian is liberal or centrist in any case. It's not 'left'. It's also entirely untrue that the BBC doesn't cover stories from the right-wing press, they do so all the damn time. But believe what you want, because your own right-wing bias clearly runs very deep.

Piers Morgan is on the right (he is known for being a Trump apologist) though he's unusual insofrar as everybopdy finds him irritatinhg, he's just apolitically annoying. If you look at the comments on those papers it's clear he has managed to have gotten himself disliked by both Guardian and Daily Mail readers. If you'd said he was 'left' that would proved your bias, but to declare Morgan of all people as 'far left' shows you are off-the-scale biased.

A bigger problem with the whole concept is that I don't really agree there's a simple single-variable axis that runs from 'left' to 'right'. There are multiple different bisases that reflect the self-interests of different groups. Liberal is not in the middle between left and right, it's a particular stance that reflects the interests of one particular social group, and members of that group could be percieved as left or right depending on the issue and their particular circumstances.

The only thing I would concede is that the BBC's light-entertainment and comedy output tends to lean left. It's as if that's the ghetto into which they corral all their leftists. It may be something in the nature of comedy or of just comedy audiences. The tokenism is really noticeable when they occasionally manage to dredge up a right-wing comic, you can almost hear their triumphant cry "we've found one! put him in a panel show immediately!". )

But their news and current affairs departments are stuffed full of conservative-leaning folk (Bernard Ingham - Thatcher's former press secretary - had a long career with the Beeb, then there's Andrew Neil - Murdoch's favourite editor, Evan Davis, Laura Kuenssberg...Michale Portillo, Mel Phillips, Michael Beurke, John Humphries...Radio Four in particular is almost unbearable for the sheer weight of conservative self-importance...and the 'liberals' on the comedy side make that channel worse rather than better...so many Oxbridge types doing sub-Python posh-boy surrealism)
