Medal of Honor issue

CPU: e8400 running stock 3.0Ghz
Cooler: CoolerMaster Hyper 212+
RAM: 4GB
Video Card: Gigabyte 6850
Motherboard: Gigabyte EP35C-DS3R
Monitor: Westinghouse 22" LCD 1680x1050

Issue:
Studdering. Going through and in many of the closed in environments it becomes a slide show. This is the first game that I've had an issue with studdering. I'm thinking that MoH is geared more towards quad core CPUs. If this is the case, and given that I really don't have significant capital to invest in a Sandy Bridge setup, should I be looking for a Q6600 or up?

MOH works great for me on an overclocked E8400 (@3.8Ghz) with a single 4890.

Works silky smooth on my set up.... too good people accuse me of hacking all the time...

MOH worked perfectly on my browsing setup. 1.8 Ghz quad + 250 gts
