My first thought is "Woohoo, a Nova Cat!"

Seeing as the copy of Crysis just came in today, I'll be trying this out over the weekend, most likely.

Nice, I was just getting ready to reinstall after a machine rebuild and opted to wait until the patch hit this week hoping I'd finally finish the single player Crysis campaign in the interim... might not make it.

Love the changes - hopefully some of the server side fixes will correct the server/client lag that makes BA so hard to kill since I see they didn't modify their hitbox to compensate according to the notes.

GREAT MOD for those that haven't tried it yet.

Well, I used the Long Tom tank and it's devastating!

Now most people who use it in public matches will either be firing blindly, shooting point blank or trying to get line of sight.

But I played a match on marches with a friend spotting for me and found I could reach across the entire map. A near miss will cripple a assault mech, anything lighter just goes boom. If you get someone good at aiming this thing working with a spotter anything standing still (like say, missile boats) are toast. You can even get one at the start of the match if your spotter goes in BA and gives you his credits.

Does this version seem significantly less stable than the previous to anyone? The missing audio bugs are back, I get random missing textures that may or may not pop in and out, and sometimes entire sections of the hud will just disappear.

They are working on a hotfix for it, some of the DEVs were on one of the heavy load servers last night asking questions.

The first time I joined a match, half the textures were missing. I restarted and it was fine.

My gripe with this mod is that it seems to take more computing power to run than Crysis does. Well, that and I can't figure out how all the weapons/mechs work without trying them out.
