Mechassault 2, did anyone here buy it?

Did anyone happen to buy the new mechassault last night?

Considering buying it but would like a few AT'er reviews 😀

I played the first for a little while but got bored fairly quickly unfortunately. I've never been one for Mech games.

I really enjoyed the PC versions, I disliked the xbox version. [Having to shoot anotherp layer 8000 times to kill them gets pretty old]

damn, shut up haterz, mech assault 1 was fun, especially online when you hear the kiddies cry through the mic. MA2 looks awesome. hopefully someone who actually has played it will check in..

You know I tried to play mechassault 1 but it refused to install on my computer. I couldn't understand it. Same disc installed fine in everyone else's computer but not mine. Only game I ever had this happen with.

No one is hating on your precious Mech Assault 1. In fact, the only person to post anything slightly negative was modeps, but he only said that he got bored of it and that he's not a fan of mech games. Chill out and read a book or something.

pc mechwarrior > xbox variations

I loved mech 3 for computer, and although i broke my joystick shortly thereafter (mech rage) i really enjoyed the amount of control the pc game gave me. I also played the xbox verson and it cut out all the parts i found enjoyable in the pc version (locational damage, and the customization ablities (omgwtf6ppc) ), it seemed like a waterdown verson of the game for kids with short attention spans (much like what they did to raven shield). I played it all the way through, up untill the last guy, which well is "difficult" to say the least. I gues for he 16-21 agegroup who fancy themselves with madden 2004 and counter-strike this will be fine but there shoudl be an element of stratagy and planning involved, and unless the second version added that ablitiy then im going to have to give it the thumbs down.

MA2 is good for online play. The single player leaves much to be desired, I feel as if it is more or less training for online play. Theres nothing like jacking another player's Mech and wiping out his/her whole team with it..muhahaha!
