There are certain advantages to a 1.5L motor.
Not bad for a 17 year old carbureted car. The car in question is an '86 Honda civic CRX. The test was highway driving, but it wasn't easy highway driving. I filled the car up this morning in 85 degree heat, and proceeded to drive from sea level to a peak altitude of 7240 feet. I then descended to 4,500 feet, and 95 degree air. I picked up a couple things, turned around and drove back over the mountain, returning to 100 degree afternoon heat on the other side of the mountain. Total distance was 288 miles, on 6.88 gallons of regular unleaded.
