Reminds me of when the only Taco Bell in town had a fire and was closed down for months. They were already building a new one on the other side of town but we still went months with no Taco Bell. When it reopened after repairs and renovation the line stretched out of the parking lot, down the street, and through the major intersections. It was crazy how addicted [deprived] people here were!

At the time it was one of only a few Taco Bells in the country that still offered the Chili Cheese Burrito. Maybe that had something to do with it :hmm:

Speaking of Taco Bell, why the hell did Yum Brands have to own KFC too?

Every time I see a Taco Bell and KFC now, I have to choose between KFC or Taco Bell. What the hell?

I don't understand why you have to choose.

Was like that when the first Krispy Kream opened up in Canada. Two fat slobs from my home town were the first customers. Got a kick out of that when I saw it on the news. :p

The Japanese do love their Western fast food and Tex-Mex is still a novelty there. KFC has been a huge success there so it was a natural move for Yum.

Somebody should open up a toilet across the street and charge $5 per roll of TP. :D
