Considering Israel is now run by people as nuts and corrupt as the Iranian leaders, I think it's pretty simple to figure this one out. I wouldn't blame Iran if they bomb the shit out of Jerusalem.

I would assume it's Israel, but why does Israel target "oil refineries and ammunition dumps?" They would target nuclear facilities and missile factories, maybe airfields. Surely they aren't planning a land invasion. They don't even border Iran. And reports of gun fights on the ground? Maybe Israel or some other foreign power is trying to help an insurgency gain traction there.

There was an earthquake (5.9) in Iran Saturday, affecting the NW part of it. I suspect alot of this is the result of the earthquake, not Israel.

Iran is one of Russia's primary arms suppliers.
Be a shame if something knocked them out of the war.
For Ukraine's sake, I would have struck Iran.

Most of Iran's munitions are developed and built underground where a bunker buster wouldn't get to, or could provided enough fell on a specific target. These acts from tonight doesn't seem like Israel's doing. Israel isn't going to pussy foot around with some bullshit level tactics. They'd go hard and heavy. Their own radar and anti-radar systems are all in house and supposedly better than what the US can develop, or whatever I've read online. If Israel was going to attack Iran they'd go after heavy targets like nuclear facilities or major government buildings. What we see here is a vague repeat of what Iraq did to Iran in their war. Hit some cities, hit depots and refineries.

To me this reeks of Iranian activists sick of the government and having inside people or Iranian Kurds who've been the buttend of hatred the last few months. Didn't Iranian oil workers threaten to go on strike if the government kept abusing citizens? Honestly that country is a mess, as is Israel and Palestine if you count them too. All three could blast each other to nothingness and the world would go on.

Even a coke fueled Bibi would think of a better plan. And the guy who came after and now just before Bibi was even more rightwing than him. Bibi was a saint compared to that shmuck.

Israel is a bit busy at the moment fuelling a new intifada, strange how this coincided with an earthquake as well

Precisely. Israel doesn't have the throw the US and UK armies do. Even China's massive Army doesn't have the logistics.

Israel is focused on themselves at the moment. I saw a report on my phone earlier thru Bing stating drones were used to attack some of the facilities. I would guess it's hobby drones modified to drop a crude and unstable explosive. It isn't too far fetched since Kurdish extremists and ISIS had been using those for years.

Iran publicly threatens Ukraine in response.

My guess is Russia and Iran will now become hands-off when it comes to the terrorism groups they fund and sponsor with weapons who go after Israel and Israelis. And here I was thinking society could relax for a bit in 2023. It almost seemed like the Russians were going to throw in the towel a few weeks ago and scamper off to the shithole they came out of.
