At least we know you guys have your priorities right. My house might be flooded but at least I can get beer.
I prefer having all the beer in one place rather than having a tiny selection at a store. My first stop in Canada for a party weekend was at a gas station.
I asked where their beer was and they said I had to go to the beer store.
I was like "WTFmate?"
wow.
i am genuinely shocked.
i thought ontario would rather die than give up its monopoly on booze.
So much corruption. Let's not get started with the gas plant. Multi billion dollar of tax dollars wasted. Not to mention the environmental impact of such a large project, only to scrap it.

Given that there is a 24hr grocery store not far from home I am glad with the new change to selling beer in grocery stores. It's ridiculous that we have to go to a certain store, with usually inconvenient hours, to buy anything that contains alcohol.
I'm assuming the 24hr grocery stores will just lock the beer fridge after 3am.

Wow, is this thread ever Canadian!
I was too horrified by the discussion of beer not being freely available to notice anything else.
Never been to a beer store here, I do find the government monopoly on liquor sales here to be complete and utter bullshit. Yet another shitty thing about this stupid city/province.

Edit: cool pic though OP.
I kinda wish Beer/Wine was available at Grocery stores. More importantly though, I wish Taxes on it were not so high. I mean >$20 for a dozen beer is pretty farkin ridiculous.
