Hi,
Just got my new IC7-G board yesterday and am very happy with it so far.
One question at this point. I have flashed to the latest 1.5 BIOS.
I do not have any SATA enabled in the BIOS, am just currently running two IDE drives.
On every boot up the system pauses for about 5 seconds with a message saying smoething like this:
"Sil 3112A SATA raid BIOS 4.2.12
searching for RAID drives
no drives found"
Is everybody getting that on each boot with the newest BIOS, or do I have a setting wrong somewhere?
It sure looks like SATA is enabled somewhere, but I can't find it.
thx
While I am at it, let me ask another question....
Correct me if I am wrong, I am assuming it is possible to run one IDE hard drive on SATA using the supplied SATA/IDE converter while running a second hard drive just as an IDE device.
thx again for any info.
