How much are they? I've been to Nissan's website and they are usually priced in the $50k price range.

I think it looks nice with the top down... but it looks weird when you put up the cover.

yes it is approx. $35k US at most? and yes it is a nice car. although i'd go for a G35 coupe instead.
Actually at the Nissan website the basic models go for only $36,500. Of course all the extras will bring it close to $50, 000

When I say only $50K I mean for this type of car. I'm not trying to sound like $50k is cheap. Hell most people don't make $50k a year.
MSRP for base roadster is $34050. plus destination and all that crap of course.
then again, i guess the people paying MSRP for a car would be the people who gets an ipod just because it's "cool"

I dont think it'll reach $50k even with whatever options you put on it... and for that price I think theres a lot of cars out there that you should consider roadster or not.
yes, it's around $34k base US (45 CAD). And it's the 350Z Roadster in the US, do they call it the Nissan Roadster in Canada?
Have there been comparisons between the G35 coupe and the Roadster? Those cars are very similar so I'd like to see which one is superior.
The one convertible I will also own one of these day... 1958 Vette SS edition, blown, of course. (cars to own++).

not quite. the G35 is heavier and i think i've read somewhere that the 350Z handles better too.
some other differences (not performance-wise) between them is that 350Z has this huge stability bar thing right on top of the trunk, making the trunk quite useless. the G35 is heavier probably due to more noise-dampening material thus the G35 is probably more "civilized".
one major difference is that the G35 is available in AWD (the G35-X sedan). in japan AWD is available in both coupe and sedan form, aka skyline.
then there is the price difference... the 350Z starts at $26k and the G35 costs over $4k more.
