The Quickclean utitility removes some critical registry keys in Windows Me leaving the computer devoid of the System Restore feature. After running QuickClean, Windows Me users will not be able to restore, or even create, new System Restore points. McAfee is aware of the problem, but there currently isn't a patch available.

This should be another reminder to stay far away from more McAfee products. Most people already know how bad "their" anti virus program can be to an O/S well being.

I don't usually publicly bash products, but I think they had it coming
