Hey everyone how, I am a total N00blet and i need help on putting together my first home built PC system. I need instructions on how to apply the Arctic silver 5 thermal compound to my Pentium D 830 CPU correctly. The Heatsink i am using is the CoolerMaster Hyper 48 heatsink. I tried reading the instructions on the arctic silver website but they ended up confusing me and due to the fact that those instructions mainly dealt with P4's and lower, i dont know exactly what to do for the Pentium D 830. Will someone out there please give me step by step procedures on how to correctly apply the thermal compound so i can get maximum benefit. I appreciate all the help i could get!
