Me, Myself, and My Mustang

Well, when I first got my car (2005 Mustang GT...but I'm sure alot of you already know), I told myself I wasn't going to "light'em up". Well, it seems I have lied to myself. Yesterday I was encouraged to do so, so II fell victim to peer pressure....but man, did it feel great. I just about lost, didn't expect the a$$ to kick out as much as it did.......I wish I could have seen my smiling face.

I almost killed myself doing 130mph on an empty stretch of road. It was raining on/off and I ran into larger than usual puddle of water on the highway. If I had my old Potenza tires I knew I'd be dead meat. The Falken 451s handle quite well in rain, lots of grip.

Yep, god didn't want me to die and wanted me to come back here to entertain you guys God can't nef so he sent me instead

That's probably because of the problems with that year Cobra...

Ford faced a severe problem with the 1999 SVT Mustang Cobra in that the engine did not produce the advertised 320 horsepower. Independent dyno testing showed that the engine was producing less than 300 horsepower.

If I recall, Ford issued a recall or TSB for intake manifold replacement which corrected the problem.

They also weigh the same...same motor..so why do you think the '05 was pulling away so much? I'm guessing it was for the camera...

They don't have the same motor. 2005 has a 300hp 3V 4.6L SOHC V8. 1999 Cobra has a 330hp 4.6L DOHC V8
