cpu temps on my machine had crept up to 46C idle and 51C+ on load; i had slammed the case down before this and wondered if i had knocked the hsf slightly.
anyway got round to it; got rid of a few months worth of dust on the fans, and refit hsf using AS5.
This stuff is [IMO] MUCH easier to apply than the AS2 i had beofre
it is much smoother and easier to draw across the core as arctic silver advice to make a nice thin layer.
booted up and my idle temps are now 38-40C and load is 46C:beer:
