I spend all day using this cable to program this remote to completely map these remotes even though none of them are technically supported. And I still have all my learning memory left to boot.

If anyone has a learning remote with JP1 capability and needs help figuring out all that JP1 nonsense, let me know. The tutorials out there are really vague and unhelpful, even the "beginner's faq" at the Yahoo JP1 group.
