ME bug?

in windows explorer, sometimes the file icons suddenly just change. for example, all my text files suddenly have the show desktop icon. this happens every once in a while. the file associations are maintained.. its just that the icons change. why is this?

Yeah....I remember that happen on my ME machine....definately a bug there, I don't recall finding a fix. Windows ME = buggy, if you have the cash Upgrade to XP Home when you can, much stabler....remember to wipe your system to remove every trace of ME though, just keep the ME install cd around if you buy the upgrade version of XP, to check for compliancy.
