Me and my pal set up Christmas lights for people. I want insurance in case I fall off the roof but I don't know what kind of policy I should be looking at/what company.

Where should I start looking?

edit: I guess we don't need insurance, but I would feel a lot better if we did have it.

I would call a commercial carrier and ask about the same type of insurance (workers comp and liablility) that roofers get.

It cannot be that hard to find.

You looking for insurance to cover you or to cover potential damage you may do to the clients property? You most likely wont be able to get anything to cover injury to yourself , that?s a workers comp policy and owner operators are not covered under workers comp. Just a general liability policy is all you need any commercial agency can help you out with that.
