You realize he may not be the one who gets hurt, right?

Heh, I'll put money on the outcome if it were to come to that.

Not really. I'm always armed, my doors are secure, and I'd never open it without knowing who was on the other side. I'm so security conscious anyway that I'm almost a different species.
I dunno about that. You DID give out your real address on the Internet.

Touche.

Wow, way to be a ego-driven hardass. All over a video game.
Remind me again when you graduated from grade school?

So what address did you post?

My home address.

I'm not very worried about my house or myself, I just don't want to have to hurt somebody over this...I mean, how stupid.

So you wouldn't be worried that this wacko has a gun too, and wouldn't mind taking pot-shots at you as you walk out of your home?

Not very. It's a great neighborhood, no real cover for someone to try that, very open, very busy. And I'm just about the most aware person you'll ever meet. He'd either be very good or very lucky to surprise me. Unless he plans on sniping me from the roof of a building a block or two away, he would be hard pressed to get the drop. If he's going to go that far, then there's no reason to worry about it since he'll obviously win. *shrug*

And if the guy is waiting for you hiding behind your car or on the side of the house, it doesn't matter how aware you are. Hell, he could probably get up on your own roof and take aim as you walk out the door.

You're very arrogant if you think you're so impervious to harm.

Relax, I never said I was impervious. I said I'm not an easy mark. Most who would act from anger aren't very smart about it, they tend to be more direct. If he's truly psycho, then there's not much I can do about it, sure. I'm not ignorant of the danger, I just don't get worked up over that kind of stuff...I've been through it too often. I tend to be more worried about having to possibly hurt others.

In all fairness, it may very well be that he's tough - you'd have to be to survive into adulthood with an IQ of less than 50. There simply is nothing goofier than someone acting like a completely brain-dead idiot, posting about it on the Internet, then bragging about how tough and aware he is. Moron.

He didn't, he was already in the army killing terrorists for fun. He's so macho.

Make sure you ask your mom to take pics of your dead body w/ missing head before they take you to the cold room, and post it here.

Then stop acting like a retard. You're the one who posted your address to a stranger on the Internet and dared him to come and fight you.

There's been no bragging man, just direct responses to direct comments. I really AM worried that he may try something that would end up in injury.

You know, it's really not the game, it's the cheating. I just can't fathom cheating, it makes no sense to me. I just think there has to be some kind of mental defect in anyone who would do it...or some deep spiritual weakness. *shrug*

If the guy was going to try something, he'd wait til you drove somewhere by yourself and then follow you and push your car onto oncoming traffic/train.

Well gee I would if she hadn't died when I was a teen...thank you so much for bringing up such a painful subject. While you're at it, why don't you pour a little lemon juice on it.

heeheh. I think you give crazies more credit than I do. But now that you mention it I'm glad there are no train tracks between me and my usual destinations. ;)

You do realize that you gave him your real address? There are more people can do to make your life hell then show up with a gun or baseball bat.
With your real address I could send you endless junk mail, delivery food you didnt order (which will REALLY piss off the delivery places), escort services, maid services, I could call the police on you for claimed domestic violence or any other domestic crime, 911 calls, or any other number of annoyances that you will have to explain.

I understand that you were in the armed forces and fancy yourself a badass. Though by doing that you come off as a very dumb badass. You say you're the most aware person but you willingly give out your real address to a random "hacker" on the internet. That doesn't seem very aware to me.

You know, it's really not the game, it's the cheating. I just can't fathom cheating, it makes no sense to me. I just think there has to be some kind of mental defect in anyone who would do it...or some deep spiritual weakness. *shrug*
No I hear ya about the cheating, but it boils down to a video game. No matter if it's cheating or you losing fair and square, you got all riled up over a video game. Enough to compromise your physical location to a random person you were partially quarrling with.
If that was me and I wanted to make your life hell, you would never forget about it and never give you address out randomly. A nice kicker would be your phone number. :D

Then he'd probably drive out and watch from afar with hyper-vision goggleoculars and survey the carnage. Assuming no carnage, he would logically setup a giant spring in the logical path of your car and wait for you to drive over it, at which point he would flip the switch and catapult your car into the nearby water reservoir, at which point you and your car would be swallowed whole by the radioactive giant octopus stealthily planted there by him the previous night.

Dont worry, he'll be very alert and aware of the junk he's getting ;). Plus he'll be ready to beat down anyone that gives him lip, delivery person or maid

Yeah, I just don't think in those terms. *shrug* I don't do things to others behind their backs. If I have a problem I want to face them over it. It's a character flaw of mine. Of course, if he does any of that other stuff then he's begun to leave a trail that can be traced back. I'm sure the police would love to have a talk with him if he started falsifying reports, or the companies if he cost them money.

You know, people always accuse me of the badass attitude, but that's not it at all. I'm sorry others can't understand it, but I just don't think like that. I'm confident, yes. A lifetime of training and experiences does that. When you've been in the situations I have for as long as I have your outlook just changes. You stop worrying so much about yourself. I don't know how else to explain it. It's not bragging, just a natural state of being. I think it's why I do dumb things so often...the little wall of self-preservation that should keep me from risking myself got taken down somewhere along the way.
