For the next 6 months I will get:

Digital cable WITH DVR
HBO
HSI

....all for $74. I think thats pretty good.

The fact that comcast just raised their rates, coupled with my desire for expensive hookers, made me call a CSR. All I said was that I could get everything I had now from directv for $53 and that Verizon said it would meet SBCs deal of DSL for $19.99 for a year.

I warn thee that the Verizon/SBC comment may have been flubbery. I live outside Philly where SBC doesnt "hang".

I called and bitched about cable internet prices (been a customer for 4 years) and they knocked off $10 a month for 6 months.

If they only knew that they got me hooked in like a crack addict they could have just said "fvck you mofo, you are cut off from Comcast , no internet for you!!"

I pay $55 for Comcast internet and $55 for DTV with HBO and Tivo.

So $110 ....Comcast has that $400 deal and a guaranteed low price for awhile but I am scared to drop DTV , they have been good to me in so many ways. (gave me free $500 credit once too! That worked out to be nearly a year of free sat tv!)

Dont mean to go OT but what is the best Comcast can do if I needed the following:

Cable internet
TV package, must have Food Network
HBO

(and HDTV would be nice too)

??
thanks

We always won with comcast. We'd use it every summer for $20-$30/month introductory rate, then cancel and go back to our colleges during the year.
