MDK2 Question again.

I'm not sure which level I'm playing right. What I know is I have deactivated all the bomb in Dr. Hawkins games, and the last thing after that is to fight with the "brain alien". I can't figure our how to solve this lever or games. I have tried to use everything but nothing seems to help. Can anyone here help me with that?

Pull down the lever and jump on the red button so that the alien gets the death ray in his ugly face.
Teleport from one side to the other side of the room.
You must hit him 2 or 3 times with the ray before he dies.
