MDG Laptop = Acer

I'm being told that MDG laptops are just rebadged Acers. I think he's 100% wrong but I thought I'd ask a group.
Anyone heard of this or know for sure?

There is a guy at work with an MDG Green 733 laptop.

It's actually an Elitegroup G733.

Complete junk.... I hate Elitegroup, and I hate MDG. DO NOT BUY FROM MDG!

I just looked at the MDG website, and the one on the main page has the exact same body style as an Acer laptop.

Acer makes the chassis for a whole lot of laptops for other companies as well as itself.
My Texas Instruments Laptop (semi retired now) is an Acer and solid as a rock, and about as slow as one too!
