well for one thing you should have gotten the cisco cert, any idiot can use billy g's os now, but can any idiot config a cisco router?
sure everyone can use billy g's os now but can they effectively maintain, secure, troubleshoot, administer a Win2000 domain, active directory and network? Most people here do not know what it means to be an MCSE and obviously neither do you.
please... the os has been out forever, if they havent learned that yet, then they are in the wrong field.
You never designed a AD domain have you?![]()
NO DOUBT HE HASN'T.
I happen to know Mark Minasi personally and if any of you know his work you'll agree he's a Windows GURU! That being said, he continues to learn new things about the same OS that's been out for years because there's all kinds of different ways to implement a network.
If a guy like that continues to learn more about what he writes books about, then I think its safe to say any of us here still have plenty to learn.
That OS statement is a joke.
And as far as CCNA goes, I'm in my final tech academy course before I take my cert test in May and I must say it's much easier to configure a router than it is to work with AD in Microsoft! IOS software is WAY easier to deal with then W2K server.
