I have been running my water cooling setup for a while and I recently emptied the system to add a new video card. I have just noticed that the pump connects to the yellow +5V side of the power cable instead of the +12. Should I do some splicing or should I just let it go? I suppose the WC has always done pretty well at cooling the system, but I would appreciate the feedback from someone else with the same pump.
 
Yeah I noticed the yellow is +12 when my "switch" cable resulted in the pop not coming on. DOH! Its ok though I didn't directly splice anything so I just unplugged it and it worked. I feel like red should be +12...but its not.
