MCE Video card recommendations

I'm looking to build a new MCE rig and plug it into a new ~55" rear projection TV
1080p, of course. not purchased yet.
nVidia cards used to be the way to go for their decoders, is this still true?
a lot of video cards have been introduced lately so I can't keep up. can some one recommend a good video card for my MCE rig. Silent would be good, but it's not a requirement. I'm looking for a good Price\Performance ratio.

Nvidia 7900 GTO would fit perfect. Great price/perf, plus it uses the same cooler as the 7900GTX which is very quiet. The 7900/7950GT are both perfect for what you need, but their cooler tends to be much louder as its only single slot.

Also the Gigabyte Silent Pipe II 7600GT would be very nice, 100% silent, and it can use nvidia pure video HD decoding i think.

I cant recommend an ATI for silent operation right now, they run just to hot, and the only thing i have seen that can silence them is the 50 dollar heat sink the HR-03. I have a x1900XTX, and I use a VF900 which is quieter than stock, but it still gets excessively hot.

Thanks, 2 great choices. 7900 GTO looks great and could handle BF2 at 1920x1080p, just not sure it's worth it for a MCE machine. May have to make the call later, not to mention NewEgg and ZZF are out of stock.

anybody else?
