MCE free upgrade to vista premium or basic?

Doesn't it say on your coupon? Home Premium is the most closely related to MCE so I presume that's the copy you qualify for.

Boy did u ever make a mistake! You would have been better off just buying an OEM copy of Vista Home Premium. The upgradewebsite is a total fubarred piece of work and you'll try forever just to get a confirm number. They have had my papers for over 6 weeks already, and my order still stands at coa confirmed. By the way it IS Home Premium u will get. When is another matter.

 
by buying oem ,you can do a dual boot and put Vista on its own drive, because with full oem ,you don't need a previous os in order to use it.
 
so my choice is 110 for xp media center with upgrade to vista or
160 for vista prem. oem
oem vista seems like a better choice you say?

OEM premium is $120 i believe
 
Make sure there are actually Vista drivers for your stuff. If not, running MCE for a few months could be a good move, unless the upgrade process really is as bad as people say.
 
how can i stick with xp when i only have 15 days to decide whether to return it or not.
so i stick with xp and get upgrade then i cannot get retail version which i want
