I posted this in the wrong forum, so I have moved it here.
Preparing to install XP MCE, I'm collecting any drivers, updates, etc. that I can find. I just finished downloading the new audio console for XP X64 and 32 a bit ago, and when checking for the same for MCE, there was only a couple of versions of Vienna Sound Font Studio and some kind of plugin. Since MCE starts with a basis of X32, does those downloads apply to MCE or doesn't the Audigy sounds cards need them in MCE?
My question applies to more than the sound card. Does anything from XP apply to MCE...like things from MS, or will everything be branded specifically to this OS?
