MCE and SLI?

Hi,

First time poster. Does anyone know if MCE 2005 (Media Center Edition XP 2005) is compatible with any of the SLI set-ups? Would love to put together a machine that's a combo media center/gaming machine. Thanks for any comments.

There's no reason I can think of that would make them incompatible other than power, cooling, and space constraints.

Yeah should be fine.

Like was already said, you won't have much PCI slots to put tuner cards and/or sound cards or anything on SLI boards.

I emailed Voodoopc asking whether they could MCE their top of the line SLI machine (f:5), but they claim the drivers aren't suited to MCE (?). Maybe I should query them for more details about which drivers are problematic.
