McDonalds Toasted Subs

Girlfriend and I tried those new McDonalds toasted subs tonight. I ordered the Italian, she ordered the Chicken. They were $4.99 each. Overall, they tasted ok, but both of us thought they were rather small. We could of both ate another one. Like Quizno's you pay a lot for very little. Doubt I'll eat them again.

You went to mcdonalds and expected to be impressed? WTF that's like going to Pizza Hut and expecting a good sub.

Ugh. The only time I ever go to mcdonalds is on the road to Reno, when McDonalds is actually the best food in town.

I guess I wasn't aware of the policy that couples must never eat at fast food restaurants. :roll:

malak - if you would of paid attention you would see that it wasn't the taste that I was unimpressed by. It was the size of the sub, which in my opinion is a ripoff for $5. McDonalds usually is pretty good when it comes to getting value for your money. In this case, not.


BTW, this was in Canada so prices may be a tad cheaper in the US
 
i get my toasted subs at GWgrinders in central ohio. Delicious.
it is too bad they aren't around more of the country

Did my post say anything about taste? Pizza Hut sells subs too, but they are weak compared to something like Subway because it's Pizza Hut, not Sandwich Hut. You can get chicken at mcdonalds too, but it certainly doesn't compare to KFC. Go where it's native to be impressed.

I'm not particularly impressed by the pizza at Pizza Hut either. 🙂

I'll take a WaWa hoagie over any other hoagie any day of the weak.
