McDonald's is dropping Hi-C Orange Lavaburst from its fountain drinks. It will be replaced by the McDonald's-exclusive Sprite TropicBerry.

My guess is that since fewer parents are ordering fountain drinks with their kids' Happy Meals, there has probably been a huge decline in those who drink the Hi-C, since I am pretty sure the Hi-C was largely targeted towards children. I remember drinking it as a kid.

I order Hi C from Mc Donald's every time I go there.
This sucks. Soda fills me up, and I can never finish my fries.

I can't decide if this is the worst day of my life, or something that I really don't care about.

Found out today that Taco Bell is dropping the Air Heads Blue freeze and going to replace it with a frozen sour lemon. Yay, something more palatable to hide my vodka or tequila.

I still remember a friend of mine being super pissed when they changed over to hi-c lavaburst from the original orange drink.

Merciful heavens!!! Is nothing sacred?

They need those carbonated beverage mixer machines, where you can get a shot of vanilla in your Barq's, if you so desire.

I didn't look at your link, but I'm sure it's the same clickbait I saw when I launched Edge to test the other day. After reading the first paragraph and seeing how the author doubled-down on clickbait style speak, sharing it and encouraging that is the last thing I would do!

Unfortunately, this is how most news sites are these days. It's hard to find any good news sources now untainted by native advertising, questionable "facts", propagandistic intentions, or aggressive/invasive tracking.

Clickbait headlines and vacuous content are pervasive, too, though to be fair that isn't a new phenomenon, and MSN' style was always in the same vein as AOL of yore.

This is pretty fucked up, that's pretty much the only drink I would get. I don't like carbonated orange, the Hi C is the bomb.

I use the Hi-C to dilute Sprite. I am not crazy about drinking pop with meals every time i go out so having some sort of non pop option is nice even if Hi-C and that stuff is still full of sugar.
