McDonald's 'Premium' chicken is meh. Definitely not worth the $4.50!

I honestly see very little difference in the crispy patties, from cheapest, to most expensive. The main difference is a prettier bun, and some vegetables on top. It's also a bit bigger, but not substantially.

Uh, I don't think you've ever had one. The premium sandwich is made with a fillet of chicken, not processed like the cheap sandwiches are.

I had one last week. The flavor, and texture's very close. Certainly not a $3 quality difference.

You get much better food at a Wendy's, there chicken is excellent (if they are in your area) .. Also try Arby's if they are in your area. Burger King chicken is not too bad (Wendy is better), but I do like Burger Kings burgers best, Wendy a close second.

I won't argue for or against that, but you should definitely be able to see (as your mentioned in your first post) the difference between the chicken once you actually bite into it.

The premium sandwich is prettier all around, but going by flavor, I find very little difference. I'll even go as far as to say I prefer the crappy bun of the McChicken. The bun on the premium chicken tasted noticeably sweet to me. I don't like sweet breads when used on sandwiches.

I'm not a food critic/elitest but come on OP ... what were you expecting?

Talk to someone who has worked at McD's. If you eat there after that then you deserve what you get.

Respect yourself ,,,

I recently tried their premium grilled chicken sandwich and I was blown away. It was extremely good. I had it again yesterday and there was a night and day difference. It was not good at all. So I guess it's hit or miss?
