McDonald's menu

I thought the McDonald's menu would be universal however I was wrong.

I heard that in New England they have a Lobster Sandwich.

Here if you order biscuit and gravy, you get one biscuit and a cup of gravy that has sausage in it.

In Oklahoma, the biscuit and gravy comes with two biscuits and gravy poured on top. The gravy there has a better taste as well.

Any other regional differences?

I can't speak for the rest of New England, but in Boston, we have the lobster sandwich. It is seasonal though. Surprisingly enough, it is pretty good, but it's like $8 or something

Here, you can sometimes get "Cuba" cheeseburgers made with real Cuba cheese. (Cuba, NY)

in hawaii, they offer spam with a lot of breakfast sandwiches, pineapple as an addition go burgers and taro pie... along with a few other things

I remember a story about that. I think some is health code and some its for drive through windows. Drive through gets the cup and walk in and eat gets it on top.

When i went to taiwan 6-7 years ago they didnt have bbq sauce there but instead only had sweet and sour. Cousin told me that the fries there were made from yams (or sweet pototoes?) in some areas.

McDonald's is a heavily franchised restaurant, so it's no surprise that menus vary from place to place.

They are probably required to have the basics (Fries, the normal lineup of sandwiches, "Mc"Nuggets...

There are probably also hundreds of distrobution centers that all make the food items for them too, with slight variances in the recipies, so that's where you get the different taste from.

Probably not health code based, but more that they don't want the biscuits to get soggy and have people complain.

Yeah, I remember that when I went to Mccy D's there. In Salamanca NY, they sell Hershey's hard ice cream, as well as pizza. And the McDonalds where I live doesn't sell the Family pack, but the one 3 miles down the road does. 😕

London, ontario is a "test" area in canada, so we get a lot of things first and stuff that never goes national. For example, we had the value menu for probably over the year, and that recently went national. A lot of the McDOnalds here sell Krispy Kreme donuts too.

I believe McDonalds always had Pizzas until they stopped a couple years ago. I used to only go to McDonalds for the Pizza!😀

I heard that in Texas, they offer some kind of specialty "Texan Burger"

We've got Spicy Chicken McDeluxe in Malaysia..
and porridge
Fish nuggets recently.. but maybe for a limited time only.

Rice Buns in Singapore like MOS burger =)

I've had McPizza and it is good! They have never had it in Baltimore, afaik, but on the NE ext of the PA turnpike, they had a rest area McDs that sold it. The largest McDs in the World is in Orlando/Kissimmee on Sand Lake Rd. They have a wide variety of items on their menu.

McDonalds is different on the inside from every other McDonalds you go to. There are no two exact interiors to a McDonalds
