LOL some of the things we use to do to pizzas to the bad customers when i was working in a pizza shop at 14. People think it's an urband legend or it doesn't happen that often... just think for a moment what is the mental capacity of a teen and what they find enjoyable, and you'll see this type of stuff isn't that far off.

I've never heard of a fast food chain charging extra for tomatoes. When did McCrap start this?

Too true. I worked at McDonald's (first job) and a co-worker of mine would do some strange things. Nothing outright gross, but let me tell you... if you ordered "extra pickles"... you got a fistful of pickles on your tiny cheeseburger. "Extra cheese"? Here, have 10 slices.

I worked at McD's 7 years ago and we charged for tomatoes and cheese.

Anything already inside the sandwitch is free(extra mayo or letuce, that we would usually charge for is free if its already in it but big mack sauce instead of mayo would cost you an extra) Pickles, onions, ketchup and mustard are free but tomatoes, letuce, and sauce all cost you something but only if it is not already present in the sandwitch. Bacon and cheese always cost you an extra if you want more.

Depends on if you are a female and how cute you were.

When I worked there a long time ago, clear unwritten set of double standards.

Ask for impossible things, like "extra chicken" or "extra sesame seeds on my bun"..or hell, just say "extra bun".

Or , try asking for a hamburger patty as a condiment.

I could see myself doing that. I hate it when people ask for "extra ____". Just take your god damn sandwich as it is.

If I'm paying a whole dang dollar for a sandwich, I want it like I want it. . .

Don't be ignorant.
Condiments aren't free. Most McDonalds don't charge for extra condiments except for tomatoes and cheese.
Tomatoes and cheese are very high cost items as oppose to lettuce, onions, pickels, etc...

With that attitude, you might get teh secret sauce too...

The thing I hate about them is them not providing ketchup unless you ask for it at the window where you receive your food. I mean Good Lord I order the largest size fry you have and you don't give me any ketchup...

Sure you can have it anyway you want, just be prepare to pay extra if you go overboard.
Mcdonalds do not make any money on the $1 items, they are there to draw customers in so they can buy other stuff.
