Mcdonald's bucket fries?

This is a rather strange request, but does anyone know where I may be able to still order Mcdonald's bucket size fries (they do exist btw) in the Houston area?
I recently mentioned to a female friend that i've purchased these buckets before just to see how huge..but she totally blew it off as a joke.
A bet was made in regards to if there were one, that she would eat the entire bucket
I've been to several drive thrus asking for them. some just laugh it off and others just stop selling them.
If u know of a place, please let me know

thx

Wow, hope you find out about it, though it'd be kinda nasty to see your female friend engorge herself when she has to eat a bucket full of fries.

Oh 'cmon, just buy a KFC 10 piece, take out the chicken, pour in McD fries, wrap bucket w/ McD fries sleeves, give bucket to your friend and watch her kill herself.

i've seen them at the one on hillcroft/westheimer but that was a few months ago. it was just a simple label "HS" at the drive thru.. probably for humongous-size

I'm a little confused as to why you are asking ATOT about a bucket of McDonald's fries instead of simply calling McDonald's and asking them.

The "bucket size" or "Humongous Size" is a 42oz soft drink cup, filled with fries, drink or Chicken Nuggets (50 pc). The McDonald's I worked at in HS did that for a while. Most dont bother anymore especialy after all the bad press.

#1 bucket size is more like a 64oz drink cup that's filled with fries

#2 I already know the buckets exist, the problem is there are too many Mcdonalds in the Houston metro area to call each one and find out since it's only at certain locations that sell them

If they don't have super size anymore, why would they still have bucket size?

<-- Remembers bucket of fries.

<-- Can still go to DQ and get a basket of fries. 😀

😕

I know what you mean, but still 😕

if i had said i wanted hjs (Hungry Jacks=Burger King) you would have been more 😕 i suspect...

what's yank slang for maccas, i've heard some pretty silly ones like maccyDs from yank exchange students?

As I have been told everything is bigger in Texas.
I was actually thinking of a BUCKET of fries. Like KFC sized bucket.
But I have seen many places that will dump fries into a large cup if you like.

You gotta love the fast food industry... they keep making portion sizes and bigger, and because of the general American consensus of getting "more for your money" these fools keep buying ginormous portions and gorging their fat asses... I'm all for this; just weeds out the people who don't understand they can't eat a Double Quarter Pounder every day.

EDIT: By the way, I'm not health nazi... every so often... when I've been just a little more bad than I normally am... I go to McDonald's and get one of those guilty pleasures of a Super Sized Double Quarter Pounder Meal with Apple Pie! (just not everyday)
