From CNN Political Producer Alexander Marquardt

(CNN) ? The day after Jim Johnson resigned from Barack Obama?s vice presidential candidate vetting committee, John McCain set his sights on Eric Holder ? one of the two remaining members of the committee.

?I think people in the media and observers will make a decision as to whether these people, individuals, should be part of Senator Obama?s campaign,? McCain told reporters in Boston. ?I think it is a matter of record that Mr. Holder recommended the pardoning of Mr. [Marc] Rich.?

He is becoming trully annoying. His campaign is negative as it could be running after Obama on personal issues. Why doesn't he talk about REAL ISSUES, like gas, energy!

He does. He talked about gas, energy in a conference call with reporters today, he talked about energy and other subjects on the Today show yesterday, and he took questions on it in a townhall meeting recently. He's going to Columbia and Canada to promote free trade.

This is what the media chooses to report though.

Is Mr. Straight-Talker getting all bent out of shape cause he has had to have half of his advisors and campaign heads resign because of their illegal actions and/or ties to the lobbyist industry?

I really don't think that he wants to get into the guilt by association pissing contest that he appears to desire.

Anyone getting flashbacks to The Running Man? When they caught Maria Conchita Alanso and wanted to throw her in with Arnold they had the announcer make stuff up like "And she had sexual relations with 3, sometimes FOUR, men in a single month!"

Juvenal is dust but he's groaning anyway. "I said who will watch the watchers, not who will vet the vetters! Ah, to Hades with you."

If either candidate provides an easy target by associating with someone that can be a political liability, the other candidate's camp will take aim. That's how it works.

Oh, and this "why doesn't he talk about real issues" stuff -- no politician will. They will all blow hot air and say whatever gets them elected, forget all this 'real issues' stuff.

There is the old adage that people who live in glass houses should not throw stones. There are plenty of unflattering things to say about McCain, but on both sides, the best advice
is that the candidate should not be involved in the actual mud slinging, when they can better use surrogates and running dogs.

Even GWB is smart enough to understand that. And while GWB was heaping faint praise on Kerry, his many minions were swift boating Kerry.

But it shows how dumb McCain is, he loses any positive news because he is the one doing the actual mud slinging.

The Old dirt bag is blowing smoke. He needs to worry about getting his own shit together.I dont even think that he will last the next four years if he were to get into office. The though of a President useing a walker does seem kinda funny.......

Could you imagine him having an "accident" while eating lunch and discussing the future with those in power in Iraq or any official where the ice is thin for that matter?
