Firstly the brotherhood has elements within the government right now and will gain more power, there a serious threat that cant be overlooked.
Or, you know, actually substantiated.
Second mccain is still corrupt along with democrats and republicans, he is wrong and PC
I would like the Republican party a LOT more if it had more people like McCain and fewer people like Bachmann. And the whole country would be better off with fewer politicians like Bachmann and more like McCain.

Look at Mccains record hes a neo-con/Progressive- how is that a real republican?

I dont like Bachmann because shes not a Conservative but she is right about the threat of radical islam

Not that I'm any great fan of McCain, but he's shown great integrity in defending decent people against the attacks of the whack-o-matics in his party.

Once he and a few others move on, the Repub machine will still offer two kinds of candidates- fruitcakes *and* nutbars...

Kudos to McCain. I personally despise the guy, but his revealing his sense of loyalty to a friend and exposing himself to the risk he took in defying the Repub base that Bachmann and Co. represent is very admirable in and of itself. There is hope, afterall.

A tip 'o the hat and a healthy swig 'o the brew to ya's, McCain. :)

There is always hope, afterall.

Did a little more checking into this, and the story is even more incredible than I thought. Huma Adedin's "connection" to the Muslim Brotherhood is that apparently, some decades ago her father, who was a college professor (died 20 years ago), founded an organization, and this organization was supported by the former director of another organization, which in turn, some years earlier, had purportedly been linked to the Muslim Brotherhood.

The link goes like this: Huma Abedin -> father -> father's organization -> person who supports organization - > organization formerly headed by this person -> in some way connected to the Muslim Brotherhood in the 1970's.

http://www.salon.com/2012/07/16/bachmann_defends_her_witchunt/

I can't believe someone as batshit crazy as Bachmann could be elected to Congress in this country, but there it is.

You forgot all the other connections...

Huma Abedin -> brother -> father ...
Huma Abedin -> mother -> father ...

:p

Bachman should be summarily booted out of Congress for this latest charade, but her retarded white conservative voters will put her back into office.
