It could be worse, it could be Ethiopian Cuisine. WTF is that, a bowl of sand? A Plate with flies on it? I know I'm being ignorant posting this but every time I see pictures of Ethioia it has starving people in it(usually with flies all over their faces). I can't imagine what kind of Cuisine they have. Maybe it's a baggy full of Kat (Cocaine like substance popular in North Africa)

There are several very good Ethiopian restaurants in Chicago. The food is similar to Indian food in many ways, lot's of vegetables in suaces served with unlevened bread and eaten, generally without utensils... It's good stuff Meynard.

Dude I'm Indian and have had Ethiopian food. What Indian food is like that?

Certainly not PUNJABI food!

The Ethiopian food I had was served on a steel plate, like Gujuratis of India eat. But the bread was of a large radius thin, and spongey. Then there were lentils. The lentils are similar to Indian daal, but thats about where it ends. The bread is completely different, punjabi food has Naan, which is dry, thick, and made in a Tandoor. We eat rice and meat(biriyani), Goat, BBQ style chicken (tandoori chicken), and various curries and meats and vegetables. The bread is eaten with the hands, and veggies and meats are folded inside the naan (like burrito kind of), but everything else is eaten with utensils. only in South India and maybe Gujurat have i seen people eating with hands where it could have been done with utensils.
