Hi there...

Is it Mcafee 9.0 or Kaspersky 5.277
Can you tell me which antivirus has better virus detection rate..

I have been using kaspersky 5.277 which is designed for XP SP2 but the windows security Center is not recongnising it. It displays a message (Antivirus not installed click here to fix the problem..)

Why is it happening.. Is Kaspersky working, then why is it displaying the error..

or do i shift to Mcafee...

Please help iam in a state of confusion..

thanks in advance:confused:

mcafee is the devil's own anti-virus software, install it and you're tied into a demonic program that will infect your system & ultimately your very soul...i advise against it

if kaspersky is working, then it will have a tray icon that looks like a red and black K. windows security center does not recognize it because kaspersky isn't as popular. just set the security center to "i have my own antivirus" or something like that. IIRC, the general consensus is that kaspersky has the best detection rate.
