McAfee Limit SETI?

My work uses McAfee Anti-virus (unfortunately - I hate it). I haven't noticed any serious impact but I've never done a before/after comparision.

Just having the VShield active will not affect your SETI times in any noticeable way (at least, it hasn't for me) but if you have ScreenScan active (scanning for viruses when the screensaver is active) then SETI will get very little, if any, processing time..
