McAfee a bust?

Anyone have any problems installing McAfee Viruscan/Firewall two pack on their Win98SE computers? I thought I was getting a deal when I bought it, $30, but neither of them seem to want to work. I have installed on a clean system, with Win being only just installed. I have installed them on my system after everything else. No go. It locks up my system and messes w/my vid card. Not sure how/why, but it does. I can't change the resolution, nor can I change anything else on my system without booting safe mode style. Any ideas? Anyone w/the same problem? It's past the 30day money back guarantee w/McAfee so thats a bust. Got me stumped...:disgust:
